Overview of FS-215 and FS-315

FS-215 and FS-315 are tabletop sealers that are designed to blend in inconspicuously not only in the work area at a plant but also at a store counter. It is a simplified sealer that also allows advanced operations; while holding the bag with both hands, you can push down on the table to seal.

Simple operation

Use the heating-time adjuster knob on top of the unit to set the appropriate heating time for the bag. Simply apply light pressure to the table with your hands as you hold the bag. This results in a powerful sealing pressure that ensures secure and clean sealing. (Please refer to the details and illustrations in the Instruction Manual.)

A variety of applications

It is ideal for individual packaging at stores, and for small packaging of parts and food materials at plants. The compact unit takes up minimal space and is very mobile.

Pastries and confectioneries (bread and other baked goods, candies, etc.), pasta and noodles, medicine, office supplies, books, magazines, vegetables, sundry products, metal products, parts, food products, etc.

Operating procedures

Use the heating-time adjuster knob on top of the unit to set the appropriate heating time for the bag.

Insert the bag properly in the sealing area as you hold the bag with both hands.

Place the bag for sealing at Position 1 as shown in the illustration below.

Pressing down further to Position 3 will turn on the heating light, indicating that the sealing process has begun.

When the heating light goes off, wait one to two seconds before releasing pressure on the table. The table returns to Position 1, completing the sealing process.

Good for 5mm and 2mm seals

The sealer comes equipped with a 5mm heating element when it is shipped from the factory. The 5mm heating element may be replaced with a 2mm heating element as needed to create 2mm seals. For details on how to replace the heating elements, please refer to the Instruction Manual.

TIPS

The replacement heating element is stored inside the parts compartment.

Easy maintenance

The heating element and other relatively frequently replaced parts are easily replaced by detaching the table and removing the Teflon-sheet. Remove the table by loosening the plastic nut with your fingers.

Good for a variety of packaging materials

To accommodate different package contents and packaging materials, FS-215 (sealing length 20cm/ 7.7 inches) and FS-315 (sealing length 30cm/ 11.6 inches) are available. This is a single heater type capable of sealing materials up to 0.2mm/7.9mil thick (total thickness of overlapping sheets).
